5 LOCAL THINGS WE’RE THANKFUL FOR + THIS WEEKEND’S SALES

Happy Thanksgiving, y’all! Today is all about showing gratitude and saying thank you, so we wanted to share who and what we’re most thankful for this holiday season!

Plus, stay tuned to the end of the post to see our Black Friday through Cyber Monday Sales!

First, we’re thankful for our local small business partners. Each week, we highlight our favorite gift-ready products through our online Local Pop-Up Shop, and each month we feature local products in our Lagniappe Boxes. All products come from businesses right here in the community. Painted Post, Hands Producing Hope, Red Stick Spice, Native Polish, Firebolt Creations, Coast and Cane, Mimosa Handcrafted, and NOLAS are just a few local businesses we’ve had the pleasure of working with in 2016. We look forward to growing many more relationships in 2017!

Second, we’re thankful for our local bloggers that continue to share their SFT style. We’re always discovering new ways to style a t-shirt through our Baton Rouge fashion bloggers. From pairing tees with leather and chokers to getting gameday ready, we always love seeing their spin on an SFT tee! This year, we worked with January Hart of January Hart, Leslie Presnall of Southern Flair, Krystal Faircloth of A Pinch of Lovely, Karli Willis of Follow the Reverie, Emily Dixon of Emily Villere Dixon and Emily Ford of Limerence & Luck. We can’t wait to see what these ladies come up with next!

Third, we’re thankful for our local printer Monogramming Unlimited. We share our local love through the designs of our tees and even down to the printing of the tees. We’re so thankful we can continue to support a fellow local business through our tees here at SFT.  We also love working with them because we feel like family and they are always willing to work so closely with SFT and tread us so special. We are able to communicated personally with our printer and we trust that they care as much about the end product and pay attention to every detail as we do. This is why we picked our printer to be local vs a national company. It's all about relationships with SFT and for that, we are so happy to have this one!   

Fourth, we’re thankful for our local venues that have hosted SFT this year! From pop-ups with the Baton Rouge Fashion Council to other local events, we’ve loved getting to know our customers face to face at events! This year, we set up shop at Tin Roof Brewing Co, Tread BR, The Commerce Building and the Crowne Plaza. Who knows where we will pop-up next in 2017!

Last but certainly not least, we are SO thankful for our local customers. This year, SFT received a BIG response to the Cajun Navy tee, and thanks to our loyal customers we were able to give back in a BIG way to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. So far, we’ve been able to donate nearly $50k through the sales of or Cajun Navy tee. This is something we never could have done without the support and local love from our customers.
