North Louisiana vs South Louisiana

I came across this post today (The Odyssey Online) and I have to agree on all of these. So, I'm from North Louisiana. A very small town, still very proud of my roots. I'm from Athens, Louisiana. It's at the crossroads of getting to and from Minden, Arcadia, and Homer. That's right Homer not HOUMA. lol... You could find Athens near Gibsland which is near the location where Bonnie and Clyde were killed. In fact, Arcadia create a whole trade days after Bonnie and Clyde.  Anyways, I lived there till I was 19 and moved to South Louisiana and I've been here ever since.

All four out of the the five of these topics, I knew nothing about till I moved to South Louisiana. I would also agree on the weather.. Many times it would snow or sleet in North Louisiana. I remember a huge Ice Storm that came through in the 90's.  Any way, check out this blog post by The Odyssey Online.  Credit to the post by The Odyssey Online is by, Tammy York on Jun 22, 2015.
