This April we wanted to put together a Sweet Baton Rouge Stay Home and Stay Safe Initiative. We’re focused on sharing ways to keep the community safe, happy and thriving while always looking for ways to send a little sunshine your way. By doing that, we have put together a fun Stay Home Checklist.

- Participate in the Social Distancing Greater Baton Rouge Easter Egg Hunt
- Cook a new recipe
- Watch a video from BREC Zoo as a Virtual Playdate on Facebook or Instagram
- Finish a book & share a review with your followers
- Do Some at Home Arts & Crafts with the Knock Knock Children’s Museum
- Do a Don’t Stop Just Geaux workout
- #ChalkYourWalkBR
- Watch Joe Burrow on April 25th as he gets inducted into the NFL Draft
- On National Pet Day (April 11th), post your favorite picture or video of your pet
- Watch a Facebook live concert from Perkins Rowe on Saturdays at 4 pm
- Tune in to Virtual Baton Rouge Blues Festival every Wednesday at 8 pm on Facebook Live or Instagram Live
- Listen to Dolly Parton read a bedtime story
- On Earth Day (April 22nd), plant something! Louisiana Nursery, Clegg’s Nursery, and Outside Stimuli are still open and doing curbside pickup.
- Host a virtual Netflix party and pick something from our List of Binge-Worthy TV
- Find a cute card from Local Pop Up, and send a note to a friend
- Have a “Date Night In” and order your favorite local curbside pickup
