While visiting the LSU lakes, you can rent a kayak through BREC or just go for an early morning walk around the lakes. We are always so busy, sometimes it's nice to SLOW down and enjoy real conversation with your favorite person. Strolling the lakes you might find some turtles, pelicans, or summer flowers and just the great nature on your walk. Visit LSU for Coffee and Kayaking, there's only one more event in July unless you read this on June 7th, you still have time to register for their event on June 8th.
If you and your BFF love plants and flowers, strolling through the Botanical Gardens would be ideal then! It's so pretty this time of year.
