Decorate Your Door, Declare Your Champion Spirit!

The 2023 Homecoming Door Decor competition is in full swing, thanks to a fantastic partnership between LSU Staff Senate and Campus Life. Departments across campus have risen to the challenge, adorning their entrances and info desks with the theme of the year: "Champion Status." Don't miss your chance to see the creativity in action as departments compete for the title of champion decorator. Entries will be accepted until Sunday, October 15th, with judging by the Homecoming Court and announcements on social media during Homecoming Week, from October 16th to 21st.


Show Your LSU Pride with Spirit Banners!

Calling all LSU student organizations and groups! The Spirit Banners competition is your canvas to showcase your artistic skills and LSU pride. Create a banner that embodies this year's theme, "Champion Status," and let your creativity shine. These banners will be displayed in front of the LSU Student Union and featured on LSU Campus Life's social media platforms. Guidelines are available, so you can get started on your masterpiece.

Homecoming Week Events to Look Forward To:

Splatterbeat (Monday, October 16): Hosted by LSU Residence Hall Association, this paint party on the Parade Ground is a colorful way to kick off Homecoming Week. Get ready to get messy and have a blast!

Homecoming Music Event - Battle of the Bands (Wednesday, October 18): Head to the Parade Ground at 6 p.m. for an evening of musical talent as bands battle it out.

Greek Life Block Party (Thursday, October 19): Sorority Row comes alive with the Greek Life Block Party, starting at 5:30 p.m. It's an evening of camaraderie and celebration.

Homecoming Court and LSU vs. Army (Saturday, October 21): Cheer on the Homecoming Court as they walk Victory Hill, and be there to witness the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King at halftime during the LSU vs. Army game.
