Our graphic designer, Sarah says, “I love Louisiana strawberries and buy them by the pallet in the spring at our local downtown Baton Rouge Red Stick Farmers Market! I haven't baked or cooked with strawberries before, but I've infused some into vodka by mixing vodka and diced strawberries in a mason jar and letting it sit in the fridge for a week. This infusion mixed with a carbonated soda is a refreshing way to kick off spring in Louisiana!”
Insider, Rebecca shares her favorite recipe on how to make Strawberry Cinnamon Raisin Sandwiches.
What you’ll need:
- Cinnamon Raisin Bread
- Cream Cheese
- Powdered Sugar
- Strawberries
Start by mixing 8tbsp of cream cheese & a cup of powdered sugar together to make a whipped spread. Next, grab two slices of cinnamon raisin bread and spread the mixture on each. Slice the strawberries thin and put them on each slice of bread. Sandwich the two slices of bread together and slice the sandwich into 4 triangles.
