As the days grow longer and the warmth of spring beckons, anticipation builds for the fourth annual Flower Fest set to unfold at Pointe Marie. Prepare to be enchanted by a weekend brimming with stunning floral displays and verdant landscapes, as The Flower Fest returns with the Gala on Friday, April 5th and the festival running Saturday, April 6th to Sunday, April 7th.

This floral extravaganza isn't just for green-thumbed enthusiasts; it's a family-friendly affair catering to flower lovers, food connoisseurs, DIY enthusiasts, local shopping vendors, and philanthropic hearts alike.

What to Expect

Magical Theme: This year, The Flower Fest is delving into the realms of fantasy with the enchanting theme of “Once Upon a Dream.” Dive into the whimsical world of Louisiana's own fairytale, and don't forget to dress the part in your most captivating attire!

Opening Gala: The festivities kick off with a Friday night gala, where attendees are treated to an exclusive first look at the 12-foot tall floral installations. Enjoy captivating performances by violinist Shaun Ward, LSU football’s DJ Supa Mike, and Frenchmen Street Productions entertainers. Witness the fashionable presentation of the 2024 Honorees and the announcement of the 2024 St. Jude Child. Delight in live painting, interactive activities, live and silent auctions, and floral-themed cocktails amidst a backdrop of floral splendor.

Weekend Market: Over the weekend, expect a bustling market featuring over 30 artists and vendors offering everything from delectable food trucks to whimsical flower crown booths. Explore the kids' zone and adult craft areas, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere. Sweet Baton Rouge® will be there both days as a vendor. Come see what new designs we are bringing with us!

Fundraising for St. Jude: Beyond the beauty of the blooms lies a deeper purpose. The Flower Fest is dedicated to raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, supporting their vital mission to combat childhood cancer. Over the years, The Flower Fest has raised $147,000 and aims to reach $200,000 this year, with all proceeds going towards this noble cause.
