We are sharing with you a few of our favorite places around Sweet Baton Rouge to help make your Cinco de Mayo plans for this coming weekend. Check out our list below with food and drink specials:

Radio Bar:  They open 3 PM with Jay Ducote’s Gov’t Taco Pop Up! Come grab your Cinco de Mayo meal, they’ll have Margarita Specials to accompany the fabulous menu, as well as Cinco de Bayou- the new Mexican Lager from Bayou Teche Brewery. There’s NO COVER – Just the Best Latin Dance Beats in town and  DJ Guatecun.

Caliente Mexican Craving: Celebrate the biggest party of the year with Caliente! Let’s talk drink specials first: They will have 2×1 Margaritas all day,  $1 Jell-O Shots, and $3 Well tequila shots! Music starts at 2 PM with DJ 2EZ till 5 PM, Simon Says from 5 PM to 8 PM, and local favorite Parish County Line from starting at 8 PM till 11 PM!

Lava Cantina: Perkins Location: Go out and enjoy awesome music from The Anteeks, then stay and hang for the afterparty with DJ Gatito .  Downtown Location: They have on stage The Patsies from 5 PM to 9 PM on the patio. Both locations will have NO COVER!

Superior Grill Midcity & Highland: will have live music and of course the best Margaritas around town!

LA Caretta: Both locations will have live music and drink specials, at the Bluebonnet location,  Scott Lee Tulley from 3 PM to 5 PM and Old Dawgs starting at 6:30 PM till 10:30 PM and Mid City Location will have Mike Hogan on stage starting at 1 PM and Casey Courville will be live starting at 5 PM to 8 PM.
