There are so many more coffee shops we love. We just wanted to start with a few. Something about local coffee shops brings so much community and friendships from your local baristas. Each local shop has its own vibe, taste, and incredible service.
Where we celebrated for National Sugar Cookie Day
We had the chance to visit the newest CounterSpace in Bocage and it’s just beautiful with lots of room for future cooking retail or classes. We couldn’t pass up National Sugar Cookie Day and not get some cookies!
You can find them @counterspacebr and located at 7575 Jefferson Hwy Suite D, Baton Rouge across from Whole Foods. They are also raffling off a private brunch where you can buy a raffle ticket or too. They recently had AC issues among other things and wanted to offset their expenses for loss of revenue with their brunch giveaway. It’s a win-win to see if you win or not, buy your ticket by 7/21. Photoshoot, where to go?
Favorite places in Baton Rouge we love to use for photoshoots.
We love shooting at the LSU Lakes, such a classic and favorite spot, anywhere on LSU Campus is fun like the clock tower, stopping by to see the live Mike the Tiger, or Death Valley, all places make for a great photo. You have so many landscapes of places to shoot downtown from beautiful streets, murals, Mississippi River, USS Kidd to even fun garage buildings, downtown Baton Rouge has so many unique places to photograph, Our first place to ever have a photoshoot was the LSU Hilltop Arboretum back in 2017 and we go still so often for shoots. The gorgeous backgrounds of the trees, plants, and nature is a great spot to visit or add to your list. Because our Flagship is located at Electric Depot, we love taking advantage of being on location. A Lot of times, we are competing with a turnaround and so we shoot on the spot to get stock photos or content we need and Electric Depot offers so many great spots that the camera really loves. Lastly, we had our first shoot at the LSU Botanical Gardens last year in the fall with the sunflowers in bloom and it’s just so beautiful there. It’s a photographer's dream location with so many offerings of backgrounds. I know we have more spots but for now, here’s a few.
