Sweet Baton Rouge® vision is to become a household name in Louisiana, known for creating apparel that is as comfortable as it is meaningful, while fostering a thriving community of local businesses and artists.
The path to building Sweet Baton Rouge® has been one of slow, steady growth. I went from working at home to my first small office suite, then forged our way into a holiday pop-up in Perkins Rowe two years in a row. That consistency paid off, leading to our first permanent storefront in 2020, and then moving to Perkins Rowe in 2023 with our perfectly purple storefront.

Fifteen years has meant showing up consistently every single day—learning, growing, and truly understanding our customers. Building this business from the ground up, one locally designed and printed tee at a time, has been a beautiful and defining experience that I am so grateful to have been able to do.

While the company started with apparel focused on our love for the Tigers and game day, we knew there was so much more to love in Louisiana like crawfish, tailgating, Steel Magnolias obsessed, festivals, Mardi Gras and everything local! Today, our tees today are not just about football, but about ALL of the things we love about our city and the wonderful Bayou State.
