Here at Sweet Baton Rouge, we believe that giving back is one of the greatest gifts and we are honored to devote our time to fundraising for something we all have experienced firsthand, what started within our city and state and then went on to help other states such as; Texas, Carolina States, and Florida. You can see in chronological order how it all began and how we are still here to use our Cajun Navy t-shirt to honor those brave men in 2016 when natural disasters occur. 2016: Sweet Baton Rouge® created the Cajun Navy t-shirt to show our Cajun Navy pride and appreciation for the brave men and women who launched their boats into the August 2016 floodwaters in efforts to rescue those who were stranded. That year, we are proud to have donated nearly $50K for our local Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. We choose the food bank as our partner during natural disasters because they align themselves with Feed America where they can make a huge food impact on cities and areas firsthand.
2017: The Cajun Navy arrived in Houston and performed search and rescue. Because of our Cajun Navy t-shirt, we are proud to have donated nearly $24K to the Houston Food Bank.
2018: A little over two years since the Great Flood, we created a Cajun Navy t-shirt that went on to raise over $77k in flood relief funds for both Baton Rouge, Houston, Carolinas and Florida due to an active year of Hurricanes.
2020: Lake Charles and surrounding areas were hit so hard with Hurricane Laura, there wasn’t as much flooding and complete devastation but we knew our Cajun Navy t-shirt could still do good and make some impact. That year we were able to donate from our sales of the Cajun Navy t-shirt $3200 to the Baton Rouge Food Bank for Hurricane Laura relief.
2021: Hurricane Ida hit our bayou parishes the hardest with so much flooding and destruction, we donated $4500 between our sales to the Baton Rouge Food Bank and Funds for People of the Bayou to help with food, restoration, and assistance.
Since 2016, through the sales of our Cajun Navy shirt, we have given back $85,000 during these disastrous weather events, we have aided through our partnership with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, who aligns themselves with Feed America where we know our dollars are going to help give food to those in need when the storms aftermath.

A shipping email with tracking will be sent to the same email you received your order confirmation. If you don’t receive a shipping email, please check your spam first. UPS Ground:This package option comes with tracking but typically can take 1-3 business days to arrive depending on the shipping location. LOST/STOLEN PACKAGES: Sweet Baton Rouge is not liable for packages that are lost or stolen. If your package shows that USPS or UPS delivered but you don't have your package, please allow at least 24 hours for the possibility USPS or UPS to retrieve your order. We have found that 99% of the time packages are submitted “delivered” by accident. Other suggestions if package is still not delivered is to check with neighbors first for your package and/or file a claim with the shipping carrier. Though we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, we absolutely understand and of course want to help as best as we can! Do not hesitate to reach out! Local Pick-Up: Take advantage of this free option for an added service of Sweet Baton Rouge! Local pick-ups are from our store location: 1509 Government Street, Building B, Suite D. Please be aware of this option when selecting your shipping preference. If you picked this option by accident, please reach out to us through email@example.com and we can invoice you for shipping.
Store Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM. During the holiday season, hours are extended Monday-Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM.
Local Delivery: We now take orders for Local Delivery thanks to the local business Shop The Area! Local deliveries can be made within 10+ mile radius of our store. Depending on the items ordered, local deliveries typicaly are delivered with the same day of being ordered. Local Delivery is $12 found during the checkout period.
How do I know my order is ready?
Once your order has been placed, you’ll first receive an email confirming your order. We recommend doing the SMS text order confirmation as some emails go directly to spam. You’ll then receive a second email notifying that your order has either shipped or is ready for local pick up. If you chose local pick-up for your order, a text message from us at 225-400-5199 will also be sent notifying you (if phone number is provided) when order is ready for local pickup.
